Preferred Maintenance Agreements for Northern Virginia Homes
Two Professional Tune-Ups a Year, Priority Service, and Real Peace of Mind
Two Professional Tune-Ups a Year, Priority Service, and Real Peace of Mind
Your heating and cooling system works hardest exactly when you need it most — the coldest nights and the hottest afternoons of the year. An R.A. Dobson Preferred Maintenance Agreement keeps it running at peak efficiency with two professional tune-ups every year: one to get you ready for cooling season and one for heating season.
Our certified technicians catch small problems before they turn into expensive breakdowns, so your system runs safer, uses less energy, and lasts longer. Family-owned in Sterling since 1975, we have kept Northern Virginia homes comfortable for three generations.
What's Included — and Your Plan Options
Every agreement includes two scheduled visits inside your contract year — one for heating and one for cooling. On each visit, your technician inspects and services the system from top to bottom: refrigerant charge and compressor pressures, the heat exchanger, burners and electrical connections, the blower assembly, motors and lubrication, condenser and indoor coils (brush-cleaned), contactors, relays and safety controls, thermostat calibration, condensate drains, a filter check, and a full safety inspection. We inspect and advise — no repair is ever made without your approval. As a fall bonus, we include a complimentary water heater inspection at the same time as your heating tune-up.
The Silver Plan — Preventative Maintenance. Our most popular plan: two maintenance visits a year (one heating, one cooling), priority emergency service so policy holders move to the front of the line, a discounted diagnostic fee, and a discount on all parts.
The Gold Plan — Full Coverage. Everything in the Silver Plan, plus labor covered for one full year and repair or replacement of covered parts. A few major components — such as the compressor, heat exchanger, and coils — are excluded, and we will walk you through exactly what is and is not covered before you sign.
Priority Emergency Service. When you are a Preferred Maintenance policy holder and something breaks down, our own dispatched technicians respond to your call as a priority — you do not wait behind everyone else, especially during the first freeze or first heat wave of the season.
Cover Your Whole Comfort System. Have a humidifier, electronic air cleaner, UV light, or a zoned ductwork system? Each can be added to either plan for a small additional charge per unit, so your entire indoor-comfort setup stays protected — not just the furnace and AC.
